Job summary

Aalo Atomics is seeking an Engineering Manager – Nuclear Facilities to lead the engineering organization supporting the Idaho facilities, including CAF and future Aalo-X projects. You will ensure safety, reliability, configuration discipline, and effective support across operation, maintenance, and testing.

Based in the United States, you will manage Cognizant System Engineers and facility engineers, drive capability development, and coordinate with Nuclear Safety, QA, and project teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, Civil).
• 10+ years of engineering experience in nuclear or highly regulated environments.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing projects.
• Strong ability to prioritize technical issues and allocate resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cognizant System Engineers and facility engineers.
• Define roles, priorities, and technical ownership for the Nuclear Facility Engineering organization.
• Manage performance planning, career development, and succession planning.
• Allocate engineering resources based on priorities, system condition, and workload.
• Ensure system health indicators, performance trends, and reliability improvements.
