Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking an experienced engineering leader to manage personnel supporting operation and maintenance of nuclear stations. You will oversee performance, coach staff, and drive improvements in equipment reliability and safety systems.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, extensive nuclear experience, and supervisory capability. SRO certification and PE licensure are preferred; hybrid work model with on-site requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight years related experience including two years of supervisory experience or equivalent senior technical or lead role.
• Five years of nuclear experience preferred.
• SRO license or certification preferred.
• Professional engineering certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering personnel in support of operation and maintenance of nuclear stations.
• Provide site leadership for equipment reliability and engineering issue resolution.
• Develop plans for equipment improvements and safety system reliability.
• Oversee program and project development to meet quality and schedule requirements.
