Job summary

Constellation is hiring to manage the engineering function for a major nuclear-energy site. The role emphasizes accountability for station needs and regulatory compliance, directing engineering staff and leading programs that improve safety and efficiency.

Qualified candidates will bring a Bachelor's in Engineering or related science, plus PE registration or SRO licensing and supervisory experience, with 5 years in engineering including nuclear exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or nuclear) OR related science.
• Professional Engineer Registration OR Active/Inactive SRO License with 5 years engineering or related experience, incl. 1 year nuclear power plant experience.
• Maintain minimum access requirements and pass medical exams per position duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide management of the engineering function with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the performance and development of assigned engineering personnel relative to site and corporate objectives.
• Fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability for short- and long-term programs impacting site operations.
• Participate in Business Planning, Budget, and Performance reviews for assigned staff.
• Serve as senior resource to NGG-wide programs and initiatives on standardized engineering systems and processes.
• Perform other duties as directed, including emergency response and outage support.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or nuclear) OR related science

Professional Engineer Registration OR SRO License (Active/Inactive) with 5 years engineering experience, incl. 1 year nuclear plant

Supervisory or managerial experience

MBA (Advanced technical degree)
