Xcel Energy in Minneapolis, MN, seeks a Nuclear Engineering Manager to lead engineering personnel, oversee performance, and ensure safety and reliability across nuclear stations. You will coach staff, set priorities, and align efforts with O&M and capital budgets while coordinating with industry groups and site leadership.

The role demands strong engineering judgment, supervisory experience in nuclear power, and the ability to deploy staff to resolve emergent issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent with integrated nuclear power knowledge.
• Eight years related experience including two years of supervisory or lead role.
• Five years nuclear experience preferred.
• Professional engineering certification preferred.
• SRO license or certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide site leadership for identification and resolution of equipment reliability and engineering issues.
• Develop plans for resolution of equipment issues and improvements of safety system reliability.
• Lead engineering staff; coach, evaluate performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Interface with management to support day-to-day plant operations and maintenance.
• Oversee programs and processes through ER and Engineering committees and site/fleet budgets.
