Job summary

Progressive / SThree Group seeks an Electrical Engineer with nuclear plant design experience to lead and support design efforts for plant modifications related to power uprate. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in nuclear plant design or a highly regulated design environment.
• Familiarity with the nuclear industry's standardized design process (post-2018 implementation).
• Strong analytical skills and experience with engineering analysis tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work across teams and disciplines.
• Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness in solving complex design challenges.
• Must be eligible for unescorted access to a nuclear facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support design efforts for plant modifications related to power uprate, including moisture separator reheaters, heater drain tank pump motors, and setpoint changes.
• Perform and verify engineering analyses and calculations (electrical and mechanical).
• Serve as a frontline design checker for internal and external design deliverables.
• Interface with design providers and plant personnel to gather input and ensure alignment.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Implementation Engineers, and Design Engineers across disciplines.
