Job summary

Entergy's Central Design Organization in Jackson, MS, seeks an experienced engineer to lead design modifications for the Nuclear Fleet. You will develop cost-effective engineering products and ensure compliance with standards and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating projects, providing technical support to operations and maintenance, managing work assignments, and communicating design concepts across teams. A BS in Engineering and proven I&C experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or related discipline with I&C exposure.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and change management skills.
• Experience with electrical drawings and Safety PLC control systems.
• Familiarity with industrial networks and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost-effective modifications to improve plant performance and reliability.
• Produce engineering outputs aligned with standards, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in solving non-routine issues and propose process improvements.
• Provide technical support to operations, maintenance, engineering, and fleet groups.
• Manage engineering work assignments to meet department needs.
• Communicate technical information clearly across all organization levels.
