Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support the Spent Fuel Handling Project at Idaho National Lab. You will coordinate with the CPM, manage submittals, RFIs and quality records, and help maintain the project schedule.

The role is contractor-facing with emphasis on Schedule, Cost, Scope and Safety on site near Idaho Falls. The position requires strong communication skills, familiarity with submittal processes, and a willingness to work in a challenging nuclear project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field; work experience can substitute.
• Experience on Department of Energy and/or large construction projects is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and submittals for compliance.
• Working knowledge of computer software systems for processing submittals (MS Office, databases).
• Excellent client-facing communication with internal staff and the customer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end review and approval of subcontractor submittals and change orders.
• Prioritize and manage submittal status to meet project schedule deadlines.
• Attend meetings to document progress and issue minutes.
• Prepare Technical Change Requests and CTS letters; maintain the Technical Document List.
• Analyze variances of submittals, RFIs, NCRs to protect schedule.
• Prepare project metrics and status logs for stakeholders.
• Support construction project management and subcontractors.
