Amentum is seeking a Structural Engineer to support the Spent Fuel Handling Project (SFHP) in Scoville, ID, delivering design to construction and commissioning. You will review structural documents, support field decisions, and liaise with contractors to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil or Structural Engineering degree required.
• Idaho PE license or ability to obtain within six months.
• 5+ years design/analysis experience in structural systems.
• Experience reviewing contractor design documents and QA procedures.
• Willingness to work onsite at Idaho National Lab daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide structural engineering expertise for SFHP from design through construction.
• Review and check design documents and contractor deliverables.
• Track project progress and manage change orders.
• Support site inspections and resolve technical issues.
