Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in Idaho Falls, ID is seeking a Labor Relations Specialist to support its commercial nuclear market on-site. The role oversees pre-job meetings, labor agreements interpretations, and resolution of jurisdictional issues within craft environments.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in labor or industrial relations in construction, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead grievances and implement national programs across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in Labor or Industrial Relations in construction or similar environment.
• Experience handling Grievance and Union Jurisdiction issues a must.
• Ability to solve unique problems with creative solutions.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Regular, reliable attendance and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and implementation of pre-job meetings to include development of mark-ups/assignments.
• Handle project inquiries and interpretations regarding project labor agreements and monitor such issues.
• Lead resolution of jurisdictional disputes and grievances.
• Coordinate responses to EEO inquiries and charges as they relate to craft employees.
• Develop plans for assisting local halls supply craftsmen when benches are empty and develop sourcing strategies for craftsmen outside the regional market.
