Curtiss-Wright Corporation is seeking an Analysis Engineering Intern in US-CA-Brea to support design reports and structural analyses for safety-critical nuclear components. You will use ANSYS and SolidWorks to verify models, assist with geometry modifications, and document methodologies under supervision.

The role emphasizes accurate analytical work, rigorous documentation, and collaboration with a design engineering team to meet customer specifications and regulatory codes.

Competenze

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil/Structural Engineering or related field with minimum 3.3 GPA.
• Strong fundamentals in statics, dynamics, strength of materials, fluid/thermal dynamics, and structural mechanics.

Mansioni

• Assist in preparing Design Reports, structural calculation packages, and safety-related evaluations for nuclear power plant components.
• Perform structural, stress, and fatigue analyses under pressure, seismic, thermal transient, and dynamic loading conditions.
• Use ANSYS to build FE models, apply boundary conditions, run simulations, and post-process results.
