Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a senior mechanical stress/structural analyst for DOE and commercial nuclear projects. You will perform CAE analyses, prepare detailed design reports, and ensure ASME/NQA-1 compliance. Proficiency in ANSYS and SolidWorks is required; CFD is a plus.

US citizenship is needed for potential security clearance. Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least five years of related experience, with occasional travel and collaboration across engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 5 years of related experience.
• Experience in nuclear industry is a plus.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical stress, structural and CFD analyses using ANSYS.
• Write and review design reports and calculations per ASME NQA-1.
• Design pressure vessels and piping per ASME codes.
• Prepare Design Basis Documents (DBDs) and System Design Descriptions (SDD).
• Lead or coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities as needed.
