Job summary

Blue Ridge Community and Technical College is seeking a Project Manager to oversee NSF S-STEM grant deliverables and student success across all grant activities. The role reports to the Dean of IT and Mathematics and coordinates with the Foundation, Financial Aid, faculty mentors, and the Finance Office to ensure timely, accurate reporting and grant progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience working in a higher education environment is preferred.
• 2–3 years of grant management experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with federal grant regulations and compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NSF S-STEM grant deliverables and student success for all grant activities.
• Coordinate recruitment and retention efforts and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Manage data and project management software; collaborate with Foundation, Financial Aid, faculty mentors, and Finance Office.
• Organize grant meetings and maintain secure electronic grant files for leadership and reporting.
• Track participant progress, perform data reporting, and support grant budgets with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain office presence at multiple locations and accommodate grant-related events, including evenings or Saturdays.
