Job summary

J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College is seeking a Title III Project Director to lead grant activities, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure accountability for budgets and timelines.

The role reports to the VP of Strategy, Innovation and Technology and works with an external evaluator. Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years of project management experience, strong research and reporting skills, and proven ability to meet deadlines while communicating effectively with diverse constituencies

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years project management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct sound research and write strong reports.
• Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work with complex processes and make recommendations impacting budgets.
• Strong communication skills with diverse constituencies including students, faculty, staff and external partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.
• Experience managing large grant-funded projects.
• Experience conducting mixed methods research with external evaluators.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Title III grant and coordinate with stakeholders and an external evaluator.
• Ensure grant spending aligns with approved budgets and timelines.
• Complete all reporting requirements to the Department of Education.
• Collaborate with the Director of Grants Management and project leaders to meet targets.
