Job summary

The College of New Jersey is seeking a Project Specialist to support the SISTEM NSF project, a six-year initiative to enhance STEM teaching and leadership in K-5. The role is half-time (17.5 hours/week) with on-site work at TCNJ and off-site collaboration with local partner schools.

Responsibilities include scheduling, file organization, budgeting and financial reporting, data collection and analysis, and supervising a Graduate Assistant.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience budgeting, financial management and reporting.
• Experience managing grant-funded program and finances.
• Familiarity with K-12 settings and terminology.
• Experience with K-12 school partnerships.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Flexible, collaborative approach to in-person and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Managing scheduling and communication for project meetings and activities.
• Organizing project files.
• Managing budgeting and financial reporting.
• Assisting with data collection and analysis on research components.
• Assisting in supervision of a Graduate Assistant
