Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to manage the audit program under the nuclear QA framework, ensuring compliance with ASME NQA-1 and related requirements. You will plan the annual schedule, supervise audits, and write reports.

You will verify corrective actions to closure, lead a team of auditors, and interact with licensees. Requirements include 5+ years in nuclear QA, NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification, and experience with 10 CFR audits; travel and per diem are typical.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance.
• Hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Experience with licensees, EPCs, or supplier quality organizations.
• ASQ CQA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead internal audits and supplier audits end to end.
• Write audit reports and verify corrective actions to closure.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and participate in reviews.
