Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own the audit program within our nuclear quality assurance framework aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and verify corrective actions to closure, ensuring independence from the work audited.

The role requires extensive experience (5+ years) in nuclear QA, strong auditing in 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1, and the ability to present findings to licensees and NRC

Qualifications

• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or eligible within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance and experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21 and NQA-1.
• Ability to write audit reports that NRC inspectors can follow.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead internal and supplier audits end-to-end and supervise the audit team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records.
