Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the nuclear QA audit program aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and verify corrective actions to closure.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualify within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Experience in construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred; ASQ CQA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program; lead internal and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end—notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit meeting, report—and supervise auditors.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; manage corrective actions and closures.
• Maintain qualification records and support owner, licensee, and NUPIC-style audits.
