Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear quality assurance framework aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and specialists, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

A typical week includes on-site evidence collection, audit reporting, supplier evaluations, and annual auditor evaluations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance and auditing.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Hands-on experience with construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program; internal audits of each NQA-1 requirement and supplier audits as required.
• Lead audits end to end — notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit, report; supervise auditors and specialists.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; recommend approvals or removals; perform surveillances.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support owner, licensee, and NUPIC-style audits of the program.
