Job summary

FM Industries, Inc. in Livermore, CA, is seeking a seasoned NPI Program Manager to drive New Product Introduction from customer engagement through production launch and handoff.

You will coordinate Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Planning teams, manage schedules, risks, and resources, and ensure readiness for production rollout. This role requires PMP, Lean, and Six Sigma expertise with a strong manufacturing background.

Qualifications

• PMO-style leadership for NPI programs across customer engagement to production launch.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, and Customer teams.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, product lifecycle management, and production launches.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional New Product Introduction (NPI) programs from project kick-off through production release.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Production, Planning, and Customer teams.
• Serve as the primary internal point of coordination for development projects.
• Facilitate project reviews and drive execution to meet customer commitments and business objectives.
• Track and communicate project status, KPIs, open actions, risks, roadblocks, and mitigation plans.
• Manage customer development programs involving evolving designs and iterative engineering releases.
• Coordinate engineering development activities including design reviews, manufacturability reviews, qualification plans, and production readiness assessments.
• Lead project risk identification and mitigation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Coordinate design revisions and customer specification updates.
