Job summary

QA1 Precision Products in Lakeville, MN seeks a Project Manager to lead new product introductions across a growing portfolio. You will define launch execution with engineering and manufacturing teams, influence leaders in a non-reporting structure, and own multiple launches from design release to production readiness.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years of PM experience in manufacturing, and familiarity with Stage-Gate processes; PMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business or other affiliated discipline
• At least 3 years project management experience leading new product launches in manufacturing
• Experience managing launches with a mix of internal/external materials and components
• PMP certification preferred
• Familiarity with Stage-Gate product development process
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and engineering change management
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening) with ability to influence others
• Proactively addresses challenges with a constructive attitude and collaborative problem-solving
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships across functions
• Willingness to learn and accept feedback to improve performance
• Act with urgency and accuracy adapting to changing priorities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERP, and PM software including Gantt charts
• People-oriented and able to work with diverse teams
• Values aligned with QA1

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and launch schedules
• Track deliverables and coordinate activities across all functions
• Maintain focus on critical path and high-risk items
• Coordinate gate reviews and ensure deliverables are met
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans
• Escalate issues and drive timely resolutions
• Lead NPI activities from design handoff to production launch
• Track tooling, fixtures, equipment, and process development
• Coordinate with Procurement/Planning to secure components
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure manufacturing capacity
• Serve as central communication point for launch activities
• Maintain project dashboards and share data with stakeholders
