Job summary
GTI Fabrication in Goodyear, AZ seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to lead product industrialization and manufacturing readiness across the NPI lifecycle, ensuring manufacturability, scalability, and alignment with cost and quality targets.
The role sits at the center of Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations, responsible for tooling strategies, labor models, and production ramp activities, with hands-on launch execution experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
- 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in industrial, electro-mechanical, or engineered product environments.
- Experience with structured NPI programs and gated development processes.
Responsibilities
- Own NPI phase gate deliverables from concept to production release.
- Define manufacturing readiness requirements at each phase gate.
- Act as manufacturing authority during reviews and evaluations.
- Ensure gating criteria are met before progression.
- Lead manufacturing risk mitigation and launch readiness.
- Collaborate with Design, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations.
