Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions in Etters, PA is seeking an NPI Manufacturing Engineer to drive manufacturability analyses and transition prototypes to mass production. You will lead DFM assessments, support new process designs, and work with cross-functional teams across global facilities.

You will provide hands-on manufacturing support, address component and quality challenges, and engage customers to deliver application expertise and drive new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing operations.
• Willingness to travel ~20% to manufacturing facilities (Mexico or Malaysia).

Responsibilities

• Lead DFM assessment and manufacturability analysis for new product development.
• Support scaled global manufacturing and mass production readiness.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, production lines and automation solutions.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure designs meet manufacturability and cost targets.
• Support trial production, production ramp and mass production implementation.
• Drive cost reduction and manufacturing efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate with automation teams and manufacturing plants to implement new equipment and processes.
