Job summary

Spectrum Control is seeking a highly motivated RF Technician to perform production-level testing and support NPI efforts. You will breadboard prototypes, help transition RF modules to full-rate production, and assist in setting up and calibrating test stands.

You will train technicians, work with engineers to improve test fixtures, and help document tests and datasheets for ease of use.

Qualifications

• Experience with RF circuitry down to the component level.
• Proficient with RF test instruments incl. network/spectrum analyzers.
• Hand soldering to 0402 size components.
• Ability to read schematics and implement redlines.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Execute production-level RF testing and support NPI.
• Breadboard prototypes for engineers and transition to production.
• Train technicians on products and optimize test stands/datasheets.
• Build switch boxes, characterize prototypes, and support debug of RF modules.
• Assist with failure analysis and repair of non-conforming products.
