Job summary

Nova Measuring Instruments in Fremont, CA seeks a Senior New Product Introduction Engineer Tech Lead to own end-to-end NPI for complex hardware. You will guide prototypes through production release, coordinating design, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and service.

The role requires hands-on leadership, BOM discipline, DFMs, and manufacturing readiness, with accountability for risks, decisions, and handoffs to sustaining engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in NPI, manufacturing, product, or process engineering for hardware products.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex projects from development builds through production release.
• Strong BOM, configuration control, and engineering change experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into robust manufacturing processes.
• Plan prototype, pilot, and production builds with clear criteria and staffing.
• Drive DFM/DFA reviews and resolve risks before release.
• Maintain BOMs, routings, drawings, specs, and work instructions in PLM/ERP.
