Job summary
SambaNova is hiring a Senior New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to bridge product design, supply chain, and contract manufacturing. You will guide products from prototype to mass production, working closely with electrical, mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
You will lead factory readiness, production builds at global CMs, and provide CM training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor-level engineering degree in a related field.
- 7+ years in new product introduction, manufacturing engineering, or hardware development.
- Experience taking products from prototype to high-volume manufacturing.
- Experience with PLM systems and cross-functional collaboration.
- DFX/DFT/ DFA considerations in design and production.
Responsibilities
- Bridge product design, supply chain, and contract manufacturing to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, and supply chain teams to guide products to mass production.
- Lead factory readiness, production builds, and CM training.
- Develop and execute manufacturing test strategies; ensure reliability testing for product releases.
