Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is partnering with Coopersville manufacturers to recruit an NPI Engineer. You will lead the transfer of new products from R&D to production and help optimize processes for smooth scale-up.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in engineering and 3+ years in NPI, with strong CAD/PLM skills, ability to interpret drawings, and a track record of cross-functional collaboration to reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in NPI within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design impact.
• Experience with PLM and CAD software.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead transfer of new products from R&D to manufacturing.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new products.
• Collaborate with design engineers for manufacturability.
• Conduct DFM/DFA reviews and provide feedback to teams.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and process flows.
• Support pilot production runs and resolve issues.
• Implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance quality.
