Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in East Lansing, MI is seeking an NPI Engineer to lead new product introductions from concept to mass production. You will guide cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, quality, and timely launches.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and have 3+ years of NPI experience in manufacturing, with strong schematic reading and test development skills. This is an on-site role in East Lansing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
3+ years of NPI experience in manufacturing.
Ability to read schematics and datasheets.
Experience with PCBA bring-up, debugging, and test development.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, QA, and process control.
Strong problem-solving in fast-paced cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams for NPI from concept to mass production.
Define and optimize processes for new products to ensure efficiency and quality.
Collaborate with design engineers for manufacturability and testability.
Develop production control plans and process documentation.
Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Manage pilot builds and ramp-up, tracking KPIs.
Select and integrate new equipment and tooling for NPI.
