Job summary

Chamberlain Group in Wisconsin seeks a Lead, NPD Sourcing Operations to own the ODM/CM engagement strategy from RFP through supplier selection, EVT/DVT, and MP ramp. This role serves as the senior liaison across Category Sourcing, Engineering, Product Management, and external suppliers to guide sourcing decisions for multiple NPD programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Masters Degree preferred.
• 8-10+ years of relevant work experience in supply chain, sourcing, or logistics.
• Cross-functional experience with engineering and product development.
• Supplier relationship management experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; comfortable presenting updates to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ODM/CM engagement strategy from RFP through supplier selection.
• Set and own the ODM/CM sourcing strategy for new product introductions.
• Lead make-vs-buy analyses and ODM-vs-Nogales trade-off assessments for new products.
• Lead DVF/toll gate reviews and ensure sourcing deliverables are met at each development phase.
• Serve as the primary Sourcing representative for NPD teams.
• Manage alignment with Program Management on ODM/CM deliverables and product launch schedules.
• Independently manage supplier risks that could impact time-to-market.
• Manage ODM/CM manufacturing capacity and align with demand forecasts.
• Develop PowerPoint decks covering program status, costs, risks, and timelines.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to facilitate decision making and alignment with executives.
• Engage with VP+ and executive stakeholders on project status and strategy.
• Own and approve project scope agreements including NRE, tooling, unit pricing, capacity commitments, and IP ownership.
• Manage NRE budgets, tooling amortization, and total cost of ownership analyses.
• Lead supplier meetings and negotiations; escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Systems Engineering on delivering product requirements.
• Lead IP discussions with Legal in supplier engagements.
