Job summary

Carlisle Fluid Tech is seeking an NPD Project Manager in Shoreview, MN to lead New Product Development projects from conception through completion. You will plan, budget, manage requirements, and ensure delivery against technical, financial, and schedule objectives, acting as the primary liaison across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include defining scopes, managing multiple R&D initiatives, tracking progress, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years in program/project management within R&D/engineering.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams on projects.
• Strong understanding of the R&D lifecycle from concept to commercialization.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with project management tools like MS Project.
• Experience in fluid handling (paint, powder, electrostatics, adhesives) is a plus.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed plans, schedules, and budgets to deliver new products from roadmap.
• Define scope, deliverables, and milestones with stakeholders and leads.
• Manage multiple R&D projects, tracking scope, schedule, and budget.
• Facilitate meetings, track progress, mitigate risks or bottlenecks.
• Ensure resource allocation aligns with project needs and priorities.
• Provide regular updates, status reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
• Foster collaboration across interdisciplinary project teams.
• Monitor costs and ensure financial accountability.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks to project success.
• Support continuous improvement through outcomes analysis.
