Job summary

Clopay Corporation is seeking a New Product Procurement Specialist in Mason, OH to partner with Design Engineering for supplier technologies and manufacturability optimization. You will manage rapid-turn quotations, prototype tooling, and first-article processes, aligning with milestone schedules.

The role requires 3–5 years in procurement or engineering sourcing, the ability to read BOMs and CAD drawings, and strong cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Operations, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3–5 years in procurement or engineering sourcing.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, CAD files, and complex BOMs.
• Proven cost-reduction, tooling negotiations, and contract structuring experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead early supplier involvement with design engineering teams.
• Manage prototyping, bidding, and PO execution for tooling and samples.
• Conduct target costing and TCO analyses for new designs.
• Identify and qualify strategic suppliers for new technology platforms.
• Coordinate production transition and ensure ramp-up readiness.
