Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of project management including procurement or supply chain.
• Time management, scheduling, and supplier relations experience.
• Experience using an ERP and scheduling system.
• Experience in bidding process and cost negotiations.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to source new suppliers to support new products, initiate them in Approved Vendor List, obtain NDAs, and negotiate terms.
• Assist engineering in obtaining prototype parts.
• Manage RFQ processes, bid clarifications, and bid tabs.
• Coordinate communications between suppliers, engineering, and quality for manufacturability.
• Manage supplier tooling and qualification of new parts.
• Manage cut-in of new parts across engineering, sales, product management, inventory, finance, and procurement.
• Coordinate roll-in of engineering changes to suppliers, including updated pricing and drawings.
• Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
