Job summary

Medrina is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner for a full-time role in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Newton, NJ. The NP will perform assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for post-acute, orthopedic, stroke, and pain management patients, collaborating with a lead provider.

Candidates should hold an NJ NP license, DEA, and have at least 1 year of NP experience, preferably in SNF or geriatrics, with strong independent practice capabilities and good documentation in EMR.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in New Jersey.
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Minimum 1 year of clinical NP experience (SNF/geriatrics/re- haber preferred).
• Experience managing adult/geriatric populations.
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills.
• Comfortable working independently in an SNF setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments and treatment planning.
• Manage patients with orthopedic rehab needs, post-stroke care, and chronic pain conditions.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR.
