Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking field staff to provide compassionate home health care and support in facilities such as clinics and nursing homes. You will assess patients, document changes, and assist with daily living activities, while maintaining safety and quality care.

Requirements include nursing program completion and active licensure, plus CNA/Med Aide eligibility in the state. Prior experience is welcome but not required; 18+ years old.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active nursing license.
• Active CNA or Med aide license within the state (transfer eligible).
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking, good communicator, compassionate.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Care for seniors in their homes and facilities such as clinics and nursing homes.
• Examine patients, conduct assessments, document condition and report changes to supervisor.
• Help with daily activities with basic cares in nursing and as an aide.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document changes.
• Administer medication, operate medical equipment and maintain a safe environment.
