Job summary

MPI seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial projects across Northern Virginia. You will head on-site operations for $20M+ builds, coordinating subcontractors, owners, and design teams while driving safety and schedule adherence.

Candidates will review drawings, enforce quality and safety standards, and report progress. OSHA 30-Hour certification and a track record in education/government sectors are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Superintendent in a commercial GC
• Proven track record delivering ground-up projects $20M+
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification required
• Experience with K-12, municipal, government or similar sectors

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site operations for ground-up commercial projects across Northern Virginia
• Direct day-to-day field activities, ensuring schedule, quality and safety
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, architects, owners and internal teams
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications and project documents
• Perform constructability reviews and identify potential challenges
• Oversee site logistics, material procurement and delivery schedules
• Maintain detailed daily reports and project documentation
• Drive quality-control initiatives to meet project requirements
• Promote and enforce OSHA safety programs and compliance
• Collaborate with Project Managers to achieve successful project outcomes
