Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) at Mayo Clinic Mankato to assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure meals are served accurately and on time.

Work on assigned units in a healthcare facility, following HIPAA and sanitation guidelines. Full-time and part-time schedules with rotating weekends and holidays; competitive pay and benefits, with opportunities to contribute to compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

Reading, writing and interpreting English documents.
Basic computer and mathematical skills required.
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.

Responsibilities

Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to offer menu alternatives for dietary restrictions and preferences.
Assemble meals per patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
Adhere to HACCP, safety, HIPAA, and sanitation policies at all times.
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required by Morrison Healthcare.
