Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) at Mayo Clinic Saint Mary’s, Rochester, MN. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available with varied days, hours, weekends, and holidays.

Prior food service or dietary aide experience is required; the fixed pay rate is $21.69 per hour. These roles involve assisting patients with menu selections, assembling meals, and delivering trays while upholding HIPAA, HACCP, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, cultural or religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays on time.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies and procedures.
