Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) in Myrtle Beach, SC. You will assist on the unit, help patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure accuracy, safety, and timeliness of service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements or restrictions.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays from patient rooms on schedule.
• Ensure meals are delivered at the right time and temperature and that patient safety and satisfaction goals are met.
• Follow HACCP guidelines, infection control policies, and HIPAA procedures.
