Withum in Maryland is seeking an Audit Manager for the Not-for-Profit Industry team. You will lead audit engagements from planning through completion, supervise staff, and collaborate with partners to build strong client relationships.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA license.
• At least 5 years of public accounting experience with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Not-for-Profit experience preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Excellent client service and communication with ability to build client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects.
• Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills; ability to represent the Firm to management.
• Willing to travel as needed based on client assignments.

Mansioni

• Lead the engagement staff in planning and executing audits, reviews or compilations to deliver top-tier client service.
• Oversee day-to-day audit engagement operations from staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork to financial reporting and conclusion.
• Provide supervision and support to staff, seniors, and supervisors, and coordinate with partners.
• Collaborate on client issue resolution and advise on regulatory and accounting issues during engagements.
• Manage multiple engagements with various teams to meet deadlines.
• Create and track engagement budgets and discuss evaluations with team members.
• Participate in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.
