Job summary

Withum is seeking an Audit Manager specializing in Not-for-Profit engagements to lead audits from planning through completion. You will supervise staff, collaborate with partners, and build strong client relationships across not-for-profit clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA license.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Not-for-Profit auditing experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engagement team on planning and execution of audit, review or compilation engagements.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement from staffing to financial reporting and conclusion.
• Provide supervision and guidance to staff, seniors and supervisors and collaborate with engagement partners.
• Coordinate with seniors, supervisors and partners on client issue resolution and regulatory considerations.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently to meet client deadlines.
• Create and monitor engagement budgets and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Contribute to professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.
