Job summary

Withum is seeking an Audit Manager for the Not-for-Profit Industry team in the United States. You will lead audit engagements from planning through completion, supervise staff, and work directly with partners and managers to build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA license.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience leading multiple engagements.
• Experience supervising staff and mentoring.
• Strong analytical, technical, and auditing abilities with GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion with staff supervision.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement, including staffing and risk assessment.
• Provide supervision and support to engagement staff, seniors and supervisors.
• Collaborate with partners and managers on client issues and regulatory matters.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently to meet client deadlines.
• Create and monitor engagement budgets and discuss performance with team members.
• Contribute to professional development programs as an instructor or leader.
