Job summary

Withum is seeking an Audit Manager to lead Not-for-Profit engagements, driving planning, execution and completion while mentoring staff and coordinating with partners and clients. You will play a key role in building and sustaining client relationships within the Not-for-Profit Industry team across multiple offices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA license.
5+ years of public accounting experience and leadership of multiple engagements.
Familiarity with US GAAP and strong client service skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the engagement team staff on planning and execution of audits, reviews or compilations to deliver world-class service.
Oversee day-to-day operations of audit engagements including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and financial reporting.
Provide supervision and support to staff, seniors and supervisors and maintain open communication with the engagement partner.
Collaborate with seniors, supervisors and partners on client issue resolution and regulatory considerations during engagements.
Manage multiple engagements concurrently to meet client deadlines.
Create and monitor engagement budgets and discuss performance with team members.
Contribute to professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.
