Withum is seeking an Audit Manager to lead Not-for-Profit engagements, overseeing planning, execution, and completion. You will supervise staff, work directly with partners and managers, and build lasting client relationships while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting and CPA license required.
• At least 5 years in public accounting with leadership of multiple engagements.
• Experience with Not-for-Profit audits preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical, technical and auditing skills with US GAAP knowledge.
• Excellent client service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagement planning and execution to deliver world-class client service.
• Oversee day-to-day audit engagement operations from staffing to financial reporting.
• Supervise staff and mentor, communicating with partners.
• Collaborate with seniors/partners on client issue resolution and regulatory considerations.
• Manage multiple engagements across teams to meet deadlines.
• Create and review engagement budgets and provide feedback to team.
• Participate in professional development as instructor or discussion leader.
