Workforce Recruiter is seeking an Audit Manager specializing in Not-for-Profit organizations in the Greater Chicagoland area. The role focuses on owning nonprofit audits, mentoring teams, and building long-term client relationships with educational institutions, foundations, and healthcare nonprofits.

Ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in public accounting, CPA preferred, and a track record of managing engagements from planning to completion.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; master's degree a plus.
• 5–7+ years of audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Experience managing audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/GAAS and financial statement prep.
• Experience supervising, reviewing, and developing audit staff.
• Excellent client relationship management, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage audit engagements for nonprofit clients across education, foundations, associations, and healthcare organizations.
• Oversee planning, fieldwork, financial reporting, and final deliverables; ensure standards are met.
