Job summary

Withum's Auditing and Attest Engagement services are the cornerstone of our firm. This Audit Manager role will work exclusively with Withum's Not-for-Profit Industry team and can be based out of any of our office locations.

You'll lead all aspects of audit engagements, from planning to completion, supervising staff and building relationships with clients. There are strong leadership and advancement opportunities within the Not-for-Profit group, with transparent promotion pathways and career

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA license required.
• Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience with leadership of multiple engagements.
• Not-for-profit auditing experience preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical, technical, and accounting skills with US GAAP knowledge.
• Excellent client service and communication abilities; able to manage multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of audit, review, or compilation engagements.
• Supervise staff, manage staffing, risk assessment, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Collaborate with partners and managers on complex issues.
• Monitor budgets and deadlines; advise on efficiency.
• Mentor staff and participate in professional development.
• Travel as needed for client assignments.
