Job summary

Withum is seeking an Audit Manager for the Not-for-Profit Industry team. You will lead engagements from planning through completion, supervising staff and collaborating with partners and managers to build strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in public accounting, CPA license, and familiarity with US GAAP. Not-for-Profit experience is preferred. The role offers leadership growth and a competitive compensation package including a bonus program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; CPA license preferred
• At least 5 years of public accounting experience with ability to lead multiple engagements
• Not-for-profit auditing experience is preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and sharp analytical skills
• Excellent client service, communication, and ability to manage multiple engagements

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning to completion with supervision of staff
• Oversee staffing, risk assessment, fieldwork, and financial reporting
• Mentor and train staff; interact with partners and managers
• Resolve client issues with engagement team and partners
• Monitor budgets and drive efficiency across engagements
• Provide leadership in professional development activities and training
• Represent the firm well in client interactions and presentations
