Job summary

SMS DATA PRODUCTS GROUP, INC is seeking a Network & Systems Engineer to provide advanced engineering and operational oversight for a DoD contract at Fort Belvoir, VA. The engineer will analyze enterprise IT infrastructure, lead NOSC watch operations, and coordinate with Mission Partners and DISA on system vulnerabilities and improvements.

The role requires handling mission-critical networks on Classified levels (Unclassified–Top Secret/SCI) with daily shifts and after-action reporting to senior

Qualifications

• BS/MS in a relevant field with 4–8 years of enterprise systems engineering, network design, or IT operations management.
• Experience with DoD or government IT environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of DoD security baselines and directives is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems analysis, architectural engineering, and 24/7 NOSC watch operations for DoD networks.
• Document and test network/server configurations and security protocols (Active Directory).
• Provide escalation and root-cause analysis for multi-system outages.
