HDR, a leader in power infrastructure, seeks a Northwest Region Power Sector Business Development Leader to drive growth across the Northwest (WA, AK, OR, ID, MT). You will build trusted client relationships with utilities and power developers and guide major pursuits to reflect deep client insight.

With 15+ years in the power market and strong leadership, you will shape regional strategy, mentor teams, align resources, and travel to engage clients across the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years relevant industry experience.
• Proven success in leading major business development efforts and building long-term client relationships.
• Deep understanding of the Northwest region energy market.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Strategic Growth: drive HDR’s market share and revenue growth across the Northwest region.
• Build Client Relationships: serve as a trusted advisor to key utilities and power developers.
• Drive Business Development: lead major pursuits, develop strategies, and guide proposals.
• Shape Market Strategy: partner with market and operations leadership on regional plans.
• Mentor and Train: develop business development skills across teams.
• Align Resources: ensure talent alignment to client needs and growth opportunities.
