Hi-Tech Packaging Inc. seeks a Sales Representative for protective packaging to manage existing accounts and grow new Northeast business. You’ll own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, collaborating with engineering and production to deliver tailored packaging solutions in a hybrid Stratford, CT setting.

The role demands 3+ years of B2B packaging/manufacturing sales, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel regionally. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience in packaging or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage existing accounts and open new ones.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Willing to travel regionally; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of existing accounts; main contact.
• Grow accounts by cross-selling foam, crates, and packaging.
• Prospect and win new Northeast manufacturing business.
• Visit customer sites to understand parts, handling, and shipping.
• Partner with engineering/design to develop cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare quotes, RFQ responses, pricing recommendations.
• Follow up on inbound leads and website inquiries.
• Resolve customer issues and maintain relationships.
