Job summary

Soma is seeking a District Manager to lead a team across multiple stores in the Danbury, CT area. The role centers on developing strategic leadership, hospitality, and sales excellence to maximize store profitability and customer experience.

You will partner with senior field leadership, drive operating initiatives, and mentor store leaders to become entrepreneurial, results-driven professionals who deliver consistent growth and superior guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; High School degree required.
• 5+ years of multi-store leadership experience within specialty retail.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and delight customers, to build trust with business partners, and to foster a rich, team-oriented environment.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; tablet/mobile devices, and social media.
• Ability to travel, work weekends, and attend networking events when the business requires.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and relationship-building behaviors reinforcing brand selling culture.
• Embodies leadership to attract, develop, and retain a high-performance team across stores.
• Partners with field leadership and business partners to execute company initiatives.
• Reads and analyzes Profit/Loss reports; drives EBITDA and payroll control.
• Leads and develops store leaders to be entrepreneurial business managers.
