Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road, a leader in North Texas construction, is seeking an experienced Safety Representative to support the Safety Director by reviewing job site safety, training staff, and maintaining injury-free workplaces.

The role focuses on implementing safety systems, coordinating with field personnel, and ensuring compliance with company policies and federal regulations. Strong communication and incident investigation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety and Health or related field preferred.
• CHST, CSHO or ASP, CSP certification preferred.
• Experience with OSHA 500 and safety regulations is beneficial.
• Proven organizational and public speaking skills, with ability to lead trainings.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards and develop controls to reduce exposures.
• Develop, prepare and present safety training for employees.
• Lead safety meetings and coordinate with project teams and subcontractors.
• Conduct incident investigations and report findings in a timely manner.
• Maintain and audit safety programs and records across sites.
